Champagne and Cheese Party

Now that warmer weather has finally arrived, host your friends and neighbors for a champagne and cheese party! I absolutely love adding fun twists to cheese parties: classic stripes, whimsical details, and—of course—delicious cheese! I’m thrilled to partner with Président to style a party tablescape to inspire you to host your own party!

This party features Président Brie Logs and spreadable Président Gourmet Cheese: Herbs de Provence—two of my favorites for entertaining. I wanted to use classic appetizer-style recipes that are as delicious as they are visually appealing.

DÉCOR & STYLE
I topped a bold, royal blue tablecloth with a whimsical black-and-white striped runner. The black-and-white stripe theme returned throughout the party with napkins, straws for drinks, vases, and holders for crackers and pretzel sticks.
Height always creates a dramatic element, so consider serving up breadsticks and pretzels in tall votive glasses. Clear glass and solid white are perfect for a whimsical party because they really allow the striped décor to pop!
Classic hydrangeas atop stacked white cake stands make a simple centerpiece—the cake stands are perfect for holding all the canapés. Welcome your guests with a tray of champagne and berries as they pick out their favorite cheese treats. Height always creates a dramatic element, so consider serving up breadsticks and pretzels in tall votive glasses. Clear glass and solid white are perfect for a whimsical party because they really allow the striped décor to pop!

Champagne & Cheese Party Appetizers

Delicious nibbles for every guest!

Directions

Herbs de Provence Cups

  1. Line canapé cups with celery leaf and three chive stalks.
  2. Fill canapé cups with 1/2 teaspoon of Président Gourmet Cheese: Herbs de Provence

Blackberry Brie Bites

  1. Slice Président Brie Log into slices.
  2. Place each slice into a phyllo cup. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes or until Brie has melted.
  3. Top with a blackberry and serve!

Celery Almond Slices

  1. Slice celery stalks in two-inch strips.
  2. Top each with a spread of your favorite Président Gourmet Cheese.
  3. Top with a roasted almond.

Prosciutto Spinach Roll-Ups

  1. Spread 1/2 teaspoon of Président Gourmet Cheese: Garlic & Herb onto a round slice of prosciutto.
  2. Top with two spinach leaves.
  3. Roll and secure with a toothpick.
